Expression of Interest
Sonic Poetry Festival 23 August to 8 September 2024
We strongly encourage you read the EOI FAQ before submitting an EOI. Events should fall within the dates of 24 Aug to 8 Sep only.
We welcome all poets, convenors and gig organisers who would like to be part of Sonic Poetry Festival 2024. If you would like to run an event and be included, you are invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). The main selection criteria for the events are:
Poetry is the main feature, while it may include or be combined with other artforms
The event takes place in Melbourne/Naarm or regional Victoria
If your event is not located Melbourne/Naarm or regional Victoria, please note that we assess that the event primarily benefits the poetry community in Melbourne/Naarm and is remotely accessible to audience members in Melbourne/Naarm.
This is an equal opportunity event which is run by volunteers. Our expectation from those who submit is a reasonable commitment regarding date, time and venue, with all event details and logistics arranged by the convenor.

Event Calendar Launch - 12 July 2024
EOIs will be evaluated by the Sonic Poetry Festival committee, all rights reserved. The evaluation will be done on a rolling basis, so the sooner you submit the sooner you’ll get a reply.
